My Story

Photography started for me roughly 15 years ago with a simple point-and-shoot camera. What began as a way to capture the places around me gradually grew into a passion for creating images with greater intention, eventually leading me from that first point-and-shoot camera to my first Canon DSLR.

Today, I spend my time behind the camera outside of my full-time career and life as a father, exploring Maine, New England, and places beyond. Photography gives me a reason to slow down, pay attention, and seek out the moments when landscape, wildlife, weather, and time come together in a memorable way.

My Approach

My approach to photography is grounded in both passion and craft. I compose each image carefully, paying close attention to composition, color, and light. Whether I'm photographing a sweeping landscape, a quiet stretch of coastline, or wildlife in its natural environment, my goal is to create an image that conveys not only what a place looks like, but what it felt like to be there.

I work with Canon and Sony digital camera systems, choosing the tools that best allow me to capture the character of each scene and bring that experience to life.
